For more than two decades, Jason R. Doll has dedicated his professional life to leading people, strengthening organizations, and helping others reach their potential. His leadership experience spans public service, executive management, organizational development, and strategic planning, giving him a practical understanding of what it takes to lead with confidence, integrity, and purpose.
Jason served for more than a decade as a Police Chief in Kansas and Iowa, where he worked closely with community leaders, elected officials, and public agencies. Throughout those years, he navigated complex challenges, made consequential decisions, developed leadership standards, and learned firsthand the importance of character, accountability, communication, and trust.
Building on that experience, Jason transitioned into executive leadership in Arizona, serving as a Chief Executive Officer and General Manager. His responsibilities included overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, guiding strategic initiatives, strengthening organizational culture, managing complex operations, and working alongside boards and leadership teams to achieve long-term organizational goals. Throughout his career, he has emphasized developing others, encouraging professional growth, and creating environments where people and organizations can succeed.
As an author of leadership and personal-development books, Jason has also dedicated himself to sharing the principles and lessons gained through years of real-world experience. His writing reflects his belief that great leadership is not defined by position, authority, or recognition, but by the influence we have, the people we develop, and the legacy we leave behind.
That belief inspired him to create The Leader You Become Leadership Development Institute—a practical learning experience designed to help emerging leaders, experienced managers, and executives strengthen their abilities and lead with greater confidence, clarity, and purpose.
